Personality:
Qi'ra is a pragmatist. Having been born on a rough planet during the height of the Galactic Empire, it very much was a dog eat dog kind of world. She has always done what is needed to survive, first and foremost. It's not that she isn't aware of the so called good or bad, but it's about doing whatever is necessary to get ahead.
That isn't to say she doesn't have a softer side, but it takes a lot to get past the tough exterior she's created to get ahead. She's a quick learner, had to be to get as far as she has. She's been sold into slavery, but because of her abilities and personality, she quickly rose in rank in the Crimson Dawn, a crime organization.
Ultimately it's not that much different from the White Worms she grew up with. It was a small gang on her home planet. She was given the opportunity to travel the galaxy at one point, but turned it down to work for Lady Proxima. She knows what she's capable of, and unlike some she isn't afraid of it.
Qi'ra was bought and trained by Vos, someone known for being ruthless. However after it becomes clear that her longtime friend and once lover Han Solo is her weakpoint, she killed Vos after a double double cross. Han is a very large part of her life, and while she cannot leave Crimson Dawn, she leaves him thinking she can protect him. Over and over again she tells him he doesn't know what she's done, and Qi'ra tries to spare him. She knows that deep down he's too good for her, and it could never work.
Ultimately she's willing to do what she needs, and she's good at it. She does have her humanity, but ultimately she chooses what she's good at for the chance of wealth and fame since she had neither growing up.
Abilities & Skills: Qi'ra has no supernatural abilities, but she is skilled in martial arts.

Reason: Qi'ra is the classic image of what a mermaid could be-- beautiful enough to trap a man in, and then drag them under the water if needed. She's pretty, but lethal with her skills.
